Workshop participants will complete a finished canvas artwork to hang on a wall and enjoy Findleton Estate wines available for purchase by the glass or bottle.
Findleton is known for her vibrant mixed media paintings. She employs fluid brushstrokes that connect with the viewer in this shared experience. Findleton’s work has been given awards by the Mother Lode National Art Exhibition, the California Watercolor Society and the Olympian Award by the Pastel Society of the West Coast.
Her award-winning wine labels are featured at the family winery, Findleton Estate and Vineyard.
As a working artist living in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Findleton divides her time between her studios there and in Sacramento.
A step by step painting demonstration by the artist will guide each student through their own journey to complete a one-of-a-kind piece. She invites everyone to come and explore the creative process and enjoy an afternoon of wine and nibbles from 1-4 p.m.
All supplies are provided by the instructor and are included in the registration cost of $80. Wine, by the glass or bottle, will be available for purchase during the workshop.
