Panel to discuss obesity and bipolar disorder

A seminar presented by Bipolar Insights featuring renowned psychiatrist, Ollie R. Mack, JD, MD; Marcia Rose, CEO/founder of Bipolar Insights; and Melissa Edman, dietetic technician, is set for Saturday, April 6.

Dr. Mack has been with Bipolar Insights since 1998 and serves as the legal and medical advisor.

Rose is the CEO/founder of Bipolar Insights, an educational center for bipolar disorder established in 1998. Rose is highly recognized in the psychiatric profession as a skilled educator of bipolar disorder.

Edman, dietetic technician, is a registered AFAA certified fitness professional and certified in plant-based nutrition by Cornell University. She has been studying health and fitness since 1998.

The panel will be confronting the truth about health, nutrition and bipolar disorder.

This seminar is open to anyone interested to learn how medication affects your weight and weight and health issues.

The seminar will be held on Saturday is at 7 p.m. at the Marshall Medical Conference Room, 681 Main St., Suite 207 and 208, in Placerville.
