The public is invited to attend free of charge. The theme is “Drawing Horses in Pastel.”
She has been a professional artist and teacher of art most of her life. She has a special interest in animal portraits.
In 1990 Aragon went to Wyoming to visit and paint horses, cowboys, cattle and western landscapes. She stayed 18 years as a rancher’s wife, working on their cattle ranch.
Her life on ranches and owning her own horses makes her a knowledgeable and sensitive artist when depicting these beautiful and impressive creatures.
Her paintings have been exhibited in the Draft Horse Classic Art show in Grass Valley for the last two years and in this year’s prestigious Equine Dream Art Show and Sale at the 15th annual Western States Horse Expo at Cal Expo in Sacramento.
