Placerville Assembly to hold installation of officers

Placerville Assembly No. 56 of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls will be having an Installation Ceremony on Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Placerville Masonic Lodge at 2820 Cold Springs Road.

This event is open to all girls between the ages of 11 and 20, their parents or guardians, as well as all members of the Masonic Family.

“Rainbow Gets Girls Ready for Life”— the organization’s motto — by teaching self-confidence, leadership and public speaking skills.

It is a non-profit organization and it participates in statewide service projects including Shriner’s Hospital, Relay for Life, the San Diego Adaptive Sports Center and the Barry Kircshner Wild Animal Refuge in Chico, to name a few.
