By From page B5 | April 04, 2014

Join Poetry Off-the-Shelves for the perfect combination of poetry and pizza at the El Dorado County Library, 345 Fair Lane in Placerville, on Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m.

Celebrating National Poetry Month, the library’s poetry group invites the public to savor poetry reading, pizza eating and good, clean family fun.

Read a poem of your own making, one from a favorite poet or just come to listen.

Enjoy free pizza, while supplies last, courtesy of Friends of the Library.

Poetry Off-the-Shelves meets the second Wednesday of the month.
