Quilt show planned for CP

The Gold Bug Quilters will hold the group’s annual show 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 5, 6 and closing at 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Cameron Park Community Services Gymnasium, 2502 Country Club Drive.

Admission is $7, with gentlemen and children free. The admission price includes all three days.

The feature quilt will be a “Tree of Paradise pieced together by members of guild and quilted by Susan Krinks, along with many other quilts by the members.

Additionally, there will be a dozen vendors with everything from quilting machines to thread rippers.

Proceeds from the show fund local high school and college students.

The Gold Bug Quilters has 125 members who meet 7 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 6871 Mother Lode Drive.
