Saturday, March 9, Cozmic Café, 594 Main St. in Placerville, presents Relic 45, the four-piece southern rock outfit from Sacramneto. The group’s new-yet-classic sound is turning heads from coast to coast.
Rising from a generation dominated by manufactured music, Relic 45’s authentic rock and roll sound has captured the hearts of music lovers.
Drawing from a rich history of influences, from Elmore James and Ray Charles to Aerosmith and The Black Crowes, the band interprets the roots of rock and roll in a way that’s new and distinctly their own.
While instantly familiar riffs and guitar solos are important hallmarks of the Relic 45 sound, great songwriting is at its core: every song originates from soulful melodies and grooves that shine whether plugged in or acoustic.
Tickets are $8 and available at the door.
The show starts at 8 p.m. with local support from Island of Black and White.
