World renowned artist, Christopher Schink, is coming to Placerville in March to conduct a four day water media workshop March 12 through 15.

The class will be held at Iron Willow/Tankersley’s Art Studio 4381 Pleasant Valley Road in the Pleasant Valley area, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This workshop will be an open studio where students will paint from their own resources such as photos, drawings, etc.

Individual instruction on “concepts” will be given and technique help will be provided.

Schink will lecture and show critical material at the beginning of each class. There will be a critique session each day as well. His goal is to help each student find his or her own voice in the work.
