Rhythm and Views goes bluesy

By From page B3 | July 25, 2014

Join Sierra Vista Winery for its new Rhythm and Views Summer Music Series. The winery will have live music on the patio every other Saturday all summer.

What’s better than listening to local artists, enjoying a breathtaking sunset and sipping on a favorite bottle of Sierra Vista wine?

Julie and the Jukes will be playing at the Saturday, July 26 concert.

Julie and the Jukes is a Northern California Band playing pure, classic blues. A four-piece combo including guitar, harmonica, bass and drums, Julie and the Jukes brings to life the classic Chicago blues of Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf, the Memphis sounds of B. B. King and Albert King, the Texas style of Freddie King and the classic women’s blues of Bessie Smith and Ida Cox.

Pack a picnic, a cozy blanket, a couple of lawn chairs and pick a spot on the patio or lawn for a two-hour concert not to be missed.

This concert is from 6-8 p.m. on July 26 at Sierra Vista Winery, 4560 Cabernet Way in Placerville.

The concert is free for wine club members, $5 for non-wine club members. Patio tables and chairs are first come — first served, so come early to snag a seat before they are all gone.
