Finally, yesterday was the grand opening of Spiritual Center for Positive Living (SCPL), and it was a very exciting and sacred day. Starting with the ribbon cutting with Supervisor Norma Santigo and followed with a unique special service, where representatives of different paths were invited to speak to our community. The music in the service was exceptional and we were already overflowing, but that’s to be expected at a grand opening. The service was led by our long standing Senior Minister, Reverend Dr. Pattie Weber. She was touching, exciting and as always, a proud leader standing in her own special sacred center of being. We as a community of kindred spirits love and are very blessed to have this new home! Please be aware that all people of all religious backgrounds are welcome to our “home” where you will be invited in with open arms and open hearts.

My life has changed dramatically since coming to SCPL. My career path has taken on a whole new direction and I finally feel like I’m going in the right direction. I love the people at the center and they are the “real deal”. Rev. Pattie, Rev. Belinda and Rev. Sherry are really there to help transform peoples lives. It’s not just talk, they care very deeply about their community.

At the Spiritual Center, all are welcome. It’s a place of great learning, healing and truth. More and more are finding their way to the Center as it becomes an increasingly bright beacon of light in our community. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful place right here in El Dorado County! Looking forward to the opening ceremony on Sunday at the new and custom, expanded location!!
