For more than 22 years, local contemporary jazz musicians Tony Windle and Scott Reams have performed an annual concert in Placerville. The duo is back after a two-year hiatus and will be performing at Boeger Winery, 1709 Carson Road in Placerville, on Friday, Aug. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.
They will be joined by popular percussionist, Mario Sebastion as well as several other special guests.
Windle and Reams enjoyed national radio success under the moniker of “The Tony Windle Situation” with singles “Spring’s Hope” and “4th Avenue.”
Pandora radio recently added a “Tony Windle” station to their offerings.
Reams has enjoyed success as a producer and writer for many local and national acts, recently completing his first film score.
Windle currently lives in northern California, and is a sales executive for Yamaha Corporation of America — music division. He continues to perform contemporary jazz throughout the country, and acts as a sideman with many popular smooth jazz artists, including famed guitarist, Steve Oliver.
After 12 years, Windle is back in the studio recording his third solo album with producer/guitarist Steve Oliver, and Tower of Power’s keyboardist Roger Smith.

The concert at Boeger is free, however there is a $5 per car parking fee and carpools are recommended.
