Sacramento will be the last stop for the Vespertine Circus this year as it completes its West Coast tour at California Stage Theater, 1725 25th St. in Sacramento, July 30 and 31.
California Stage Theater becomes “the big top” as it celebrates its 20th production year with The Vespertine Circus.
In the new vaudeville tradition, this circus theater will tickle your ribs with “A Perfect World,” a music-filled fantasy circus story alive with feats of daring on the trapeze. A spectacle of contortionists and tumblers who abound below, as aerialists command the air.
Flying fiery pins and hula hoops fill the stage as the clowns create their magic. Young people especially like the Vespertine clowns who create laugh-filled moments as they tumble and juggle, flying by the seat of their pants across the stage.
“The Vespertine Circus” will play for only two nights at California Stage Theater. Doors open at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 30 and Tuesday, July 31 in midtown Sacramento.
Ticket prices are $20 for general adult admission, $15 for students, SARTACARD, Military and seniors, and $12 for children or adult groups of six or more. Easy free parking is available.
