This year the Gold Bug Quilt Guild is holding its Gold Bug Quilt Show 2013 on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7.

The public is invited to come and see the gorgeous New York Beauty Opportunity Quilt made from batiks by the members of the guild.

The guild has expanded the show this year to include a Country Store. There will be many vendors, a featured exhibit by the Placerville Historical Museum, a basket boutique, silent auction, refreshments, demonstrations and more.

The show is at Church of the Foothills, 2380 Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park. Admission is $7 and includes both days. Children and gentlemen are admitted free.
