Oakstone Winery and Obscurity Cellars, 6470 Irish Acres Road in Fair Play, is celebrating the Fourth with a futures release party on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 4, 5 and 6. Stop by to pick up futures, taste wines and have pulled pork sliders and gourmet snacks catered by Diane Wilkinson Catering to pair with these special wines. For more information call 530-620-5303.

Toogood Estate Winery, 7280 Fairplay Road in Fair Play, is having a Summer Sangria Party starting July 4 and going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through July 27. Mount Aukum Winery, 6781 Tower Road in Mount Aukum, is a great place to be for the Fourth of July. The view of the valley offers a look at multiple fireworks displays. SATURDAY
The American River Conservancy is having a fun mountain bike ride on Saturday, July 5. From 8-11 a.m. Tom Peterson, an ARC supporter, trail author and bike enthusiast will lead this ride, geared for new riders. Call 530-621-1224 for the meeting location in the Pilot Hill area and to sign up.

Miraflores Winery, 2120 Four Springs Trail in the Pleasant Valley area, is serving a four-course luncheon on the Vineyard Patio on Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6 Julian Vasquez from the Delta King Pilothouse is the chef with sommelier Matthew Lewis. For reservations call 530-647-8505.

El Dorado Hills Town Center presents free Thursday concerts “Live on the Boulevard” Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Steven Young Amphitheater. On July 10 Unauthorized Rolling Stones is playing.
