Gold Country Artists Gallery, 379 Main St. in Placerville, through Dec. 2, is featuring the unique and original pottery of Lisa Bone. Bone creates exquisite rake and other saggar fired pottery and uses intricate carving and glazing techniques. The gallery is also featuring the outstanding photography of Soroush Mostafanejad. He seeks out unusual subjects and exciting color and then with his professional photographic techniques and modern computer technology enhances and prints his own work on canvas. Holly’s Hill Vineyards, 3680 Leisure Lane in Placerville, is having a Holiday Release Party and Cheese and Wine Pairing on Saturday, Nov. 10 and Sunday, Nov. 11. There will be a five-course cheese and wine pairing presented by Dedrick’s Cheese Shop and gift ideas by Scott Evans, author of Tragic Flaws and First Folio; Elena Tucker, Beads on Fire Jewelry; John Getchel Photography; and Winterhill Olive Oil.
