Gold Country Artists Gallery, 379 Main St. in Placerville, through Nov. 4, is featuring the original jewelry of Lorrene Davis. Davis’s elegant designs are created with silver and polymer clays to produce organic forms with rich textures and colors. Karen Hunziker is also featured this month. Hunziker works in mixed media consisting of ink, watercolor pens and pastel. The gallery with 43 professional artists is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended hours until 9 p.m. for Third Saturday Art Walk on Oct 20. El Dorado Arts Council’s ArtSpace, 459 Main St. in Placerville, is exhibiting “Colors of the Soul” — an all media exhibition of the journey of healing. El Dorado artists create expressions of their journeys towards health and healing through Oct. 6. The reception is Saturday, Sept. 15 during Third Saturday Art Walk.
