Time to party with Mofo Party

By From page B7 | May 30, 2014

The Sutter Creek Theater presents The Mofo Party Band in concert, Saturday, May 31 at 8 p.m.

With strong influences from old-school Chicago blues and West Coast jump, the MoFo Party Band is headed by the Clifton Brothers: John (blowin’ harmonica and growlin’ vocals) and Bill (pickin’ licks on his Tele.)

Performing more than 150 shows yearly since 1989, the MoFo Party Band is known for its energetic live performances and dynamic stage presence.

With hot guitar licks, awesome harmonica, gritty vocals and killer lyrics, this band is 100 percent hot blues. Its signature “three guys, two guitars” where, one is playing the chords on one guitar while picking the strings on a second guitar has to be seen to be believed.

Tickets are $17 in advance and $19 the day of the show, which will be held at the Sutter Creek Theater, 44 Main St. in Sutter Creek.

Order tickets through suttercreektheatre.com or purchase with cash at Heart & Soul, 42 Main St. in Sutter Creek.
