Time travel to the past in Old Sacramento

By
From page B3 | July 04, 2014 |

Get ready to step back in time when the past mingles with the present once again in Old Sacramento. For the fifth consecutive summer, visitors to Old Sacramento will enjoy lively, fun and free street theater as part of the hugely popular “Time Travel Weekends” program beginning July 5 through Aug. 24 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

The streets of Old Sacramento will come alive with talented performers who put on spontaneous, interactive and often elaborate skits and performances.

Visitors won’t want to miss the highly entertaining Old West stage shows happening daily including the much acclaimed New Golden Melodeon Review in the Eagle Theatre.

As visitors stroll through Old Sacramento on Saturdays they might just chance upon historic re-enactments complete with wagons, wild characters with heroes and villains, children’s pioneer craft activities, historic gambling, bowling, juggling, singing, dancing and other forms of musical mastery, military encampments, mining camps, parades, historic events, medicine shows and much more.

For more information call 916-808-7059 or visit historicoldsac.org/timetravel.
