CRIMSON FEATHER PRESS art studio is hosting a one man show title “The Boy In Me” by artist Travis Latta.
The colorful, fun and happy one-man show titled “The Boy In Me” by artist Travis Latta premiers during the Placerville Art and Wine Festival at Crimson Feather Press Art Studio, 451 Main St., Suite 9, in Placerville.
Latta developed an interest in painting at 16 when he created a piece for a friend as a gift.
That memory stayed with him and made him realize that art was not only a fun venue to explore but also a way to communicate with others.
Mixed media creations enable his self expression.
Now at 26, knowing that a piece of art he created as a gift not only affected him but also affected the person who received it, Latta has created a collection full of positive perspective for his one-man show at Crimson Feather Press.
“The Boy In Me” exhibition will showcase the new colorful, fun and happy collected works of Latta.
For this specific show Latta focuses on positive prospects using vivid colors. It is his attempt to create a unique style and to communicate with friends and people he knows. He expresses how important they are when he creates art, as art is his life.
Latta is not only a part of the art world but with his human characters and monsters alike, he is creating a universe of his own.
“The Boy In Me” art show premiers during the Placerville Art and Wine Festival on Saturday, Oct. 20 and continues through Nov. 8.
Stop by the gallery during the grand opening of Latta’s work to interact with the artist and to discuss his art from 6 to 9 p.m.
Crimson Feather Press is open for special events and by appointment only.
