Treat all the senses at Sierra Vista Vineyards

By From page B3 | June 27, 2014

It will be a treat for all the senses at  Sierra Vista Vineyards and Winery, 4560 Cabernet Way in Placerville, at the new Rhythm and Views Summer Music Series on Saturday, June 28. There will be live music on the patio every other Saturday all summer long to go with the breathtaking sunset views. Swirl, sniff and sip the award-winning Sierra Vista wines while sitting on a comfy blanket or chair.

The concert is from 6-8 p.m.

The Old West Trio is playing at the first concert in the summer series with spot on renditions of some of the greatest western tunes of all time. The group balances silver-screen harmonies and newly minted cowboy classics with a dose of humor.

The trio earned the Will Rogers Award for 2011 Best Western Music Duo/Group of the Year (Academy of Western Artists). The members are Steve Ide (rhythm guitar), Leslie Ide (upright bass) and Steve Johnson (lead guitar).

Pack a picnic, a cozy blanket, a couple of lawn chairs and find a place on the patio or lawn for a two-hour concert not to be missed. A favorite bottle of Sierra Vista wine will be uncorked and waiting for you.

There is no charge for wine club members and $5 for nonmembers. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.
