Vegas-style show at MontBleu Theater

By From page B12 | January 17, 2014

Exotic dancers, high-flying aerialists, beat-driven DJs, a fire performer and sword swallower will turn weekends at MontBleu Theater into a risqué feast of outrageous light, color and sound in the new burlesque revue “Sweet Talk: A Delicious Electro-Cirque Kiss” beginning Sunday, Jan. 19.

“Sweet Talk” features 10 multi-talented cast members from the region, including members of the Heavenly Angels, who will dazzle and engage show-goers with 19 performances Fridays and Saturdays through April 5 at Lake Tahoe’s MontBleu Resort Casino and Spa.

Each 70-minute burlesque risqué production is a high-energy, light and sound multimedia experience where dramatic high-flying cirque art blends with exotic female and male dancers who swing, dive and fly to beat-driven music mixed live by DJ Viola LaLa Mia.

Produced by Champagne Productions, the burlesque show is a first-of-its-kind revue for MontBleu, where local and regional talent are brought on stage in a larger-than-life Vegas-style production.

The inaugural show kickoff is Sunday, Jan. 19. Doors are open at 8 p.m., the show starts at 8:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 and are available Fridays and Saturdays through April 5 at the MontBleu box office at 888-829-7630.
