Described by the New York Times as “an imaginative artist,” Chilean-born flutist, Guzman performs more than 50 concerts a year throughout the world.
She has been featured on programs for PBS, NBC and NPR. She has performed in 122 countries, on all seven continents, often featuring flutes from her collection of more than 100 gathered from concert tours.
Guzman studied with Albert Tipton and graduated from the Juilliard School of Music. A former member of the Houston Grand Opera and the New World Symphony, she has released eight CDs and has performed as a soloist with 65 ensembles across the globe.
