Young musicians shine at Sac State

The String Project will hold its annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, in Capistrano Hall’s Music Recital Hall on the California State University, Sacramento campus, 6000 J St.

The String Project provides group lessons in violin, cello and bass for local children in the fourth-grade and up, taught by Sac State students.

The program includes selections from the “Nutcracker Suite,” “French Folk Song,” and the always popular “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.”

Admission is free.
