American River Music Festival 2011

American River Music Festival is a good time for all

By From page D2 | August 31, 2011

Thanks for joining us, and welcome to the fifth annual American River Music Festival, Sept. 16, 17 and 18, presenting the “finest in Americana,” on the South Fork of the American River in Coloma, El Dorado County.

This year’s festival has more than 25 performances and workshops in 10 locations.

Festival patrons will be enjoying music at the main stage at Henningsen-Lotus Park, in three beautiful riverfront campgrounds, on the 14-mile “gorge” river trip, the river hike and local “hot spots” throughout Coloma.

The fest also offers a terrific Friday night showcase, fun kid’s activities, participation in “live art” creations, campground jams, wonderful art vendors, great food and beverages, free shuttles and much more.

When you mix live music and moving water in such a beautiful place we know it’s going to be fun, and our hope is you’ll laugh a little, smile a lot and hug someone during the fest.

The American River Music Festival is entirely organized and operated by a dedicated group of more than 130 volunteers. You’re the best! And a big thanks goes out to our sponsors and partners; without them this festival just wouldn’t take place.

Thanks for supporting this non-profit music presentation.
