This 34th annual Christmas Parade will happen rain or shine on Sunday, Dec. 4. The holiday gift from the McIntire Family to El Dorado County starts at Upper Broadway by the Mountain Democrat in Placerville and proceeds down Main Street to Sacramento Street. The parade starts at 1 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Believe in the Magic.” Participants are encouraged to depict the theme.
The parade is open to everyone and the cost to enter is a unwrapped gift for the Toys for Tots program.
Christmas Parade applications are available at the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce on Main Street, and at the Mountain Democrat and Les Schwab Tire on Broadway in Placerville.
