Giving Time Out is a wonderful gift

A little self-indulgence never hurt anyone and one member of the Apple Hill Growers sees to it that men and women get the chance to be pampered.

Time Out Spa, located at 2452 Apple Vista Lane in Camino, offers customers several ways to be spoiled. Those include massage, facials, Vichi, and pampering of hands and feet.

“We’ve been open 17 years,” said owner Edie Bullard, of Camino. “We are a private resort and day spa. We are on 10 acres of property.”

She added her clientele consists of mostly women but after 2 p.m., gentlemen can come in and be pampered as well.

“I have packages or they can put their own package together,” Bullard said. “We have overnight packages.”

The overnight packages include all meals and a sleep gown. All guests stay in rooms on the second floor of the building.

Pricing on the packages begins at $169 and varies according to the services the client chooses.

Bullard said the facility can accommodate about 20 people per day and customers can also put their own groups together.

“One of our best services that we offer is the Vichy,” she said. “You are in a disposable garment and you are on a wet table. There’s a rain bar that comes out of the wall and there are six shower heads on it. It’s total body exfoliation.”

She added for those Christmas shoppers looking for a unique gift, the spa does have gift certificates and with those certificates, they can pick and choose what pampering packages they would like.

“We’re the best kept secret in Apple Hill,” Bullard said. “Time Out is a dream catcher. A refuge from reality where tranquility prevails. Time Out provides everything a woman needs to experience the pleasure of time for herself. Whenever you need primping or just relaxing, Time Out is the answer.”

Bullard suggests checking the Website at timeoutspa.com for hours and operation and calling 530-644-0314 to set an appointment.
