Isagenix carries a reputation for helping folks lose weight. But local distributor Cecelia Gachet-Atchison said the products Isagenix carries has far surpassed that.

“Over the past decade, Isagenix has emerged from a reputation as ‘just a weight loss company’ and established itself as a multifaceted solutions company at the forefront of four major global concerns affecting the lives of millions,” she said. “Isagenix offers solutions for our obesity, nutritional deficiency, aging and financial stress.”

The inspiration behind Gachet-Atchison’s business began with her own transformation. When a doctor told her husband he was overweight and might need insulin shots and a collection of pharmaceuticals, the two turned to a box of Isagenix given to them by their daughter, in attempt to live a healthier lifestyle. It worked.

“We started the process of living a balanced and healthful life by cleansing our system of pollutants and toxic invaders from all the man-made poisons that are in everything that we eat, drink and breathe,” she said. “We started feeding our body superfoods … When we change our health habits we begin to see the transformation that takes place. Our body shed the excess weight, our mind sharpened, and our energy soared. We feel better than we have in the last 60 years and our doctor now says that we have the indicators of a teenager.”

Her husband is down 55 pounds the last two years and is healthier than ever. She’s taken those same products and shared them with the world through her business.

Isagenix just won six Stevie Awards at the 2012 American Business Awards, including Company of the Year and Most Innovative Company of the Year.

“We just received an article about a research conducted by Krista Varady, Ph.D. … where Isagenix was one of the Nutrition Systems under the study,” Gachet-Atchison said. “In the article, Dr. Varady says that ‘the study finds Isagenix superior to the leading ‘Heart Healthy’ diet.”

Isagenix sells several useful products. From shakes, soups and bars to sports drinks, anti-oxidants and anti-aging products, various supplies are offered in many different “paks” for purchase.

Some of the products contain liver support, antioxidants protection, aid in the loss of weight, enhance mental abilities, increase energy, provide immune support, help with healthy brain function and better cellular function, provide anti-aging protection, better digestion, enhanced nutrition, fight obesity, give adaptogenic support, lessen cravings, provide an “aura” of wellness, balance hormones, provide youthful skin, offer rejuvenation with trace minerals, and provide gastrointestinal support.

Gachet-Atchison has found success with the selling of such products, but believes she’s doing this to better people’s lives above all.

“Inspired by my husband’s illness and later on by his recovery, I decided to step out of my comfort zone to follow my strong desire to help families and individuals enjoy the same health and nutritional outcome that my entire family is now so blessed to enjoy,” she said. “I cannot explain how it feels to go to bed each night knowing I’m helping people regain, rebuild and retain their good health. It’s just priceless.”
