Located at 1261 Broadway in Placerville, Robinson’s Medical Equipment and Supplies sells and rents oxygen supplies, many different styles of walkers, lift chairs, bathroom safety products, canes, crutches and more. The most recent addition to their product list is a complex rehabilitation service, which provides in-home evaluations and power chair custom seatings for people with Parkinson’s disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Quadriplegia, Paraplegia and other diseases that make mobility difficult. “We give people the ability to be independent in their own home,” said Deana Louden, assistant technology professional at Robinson’s Medical. “You’d be surprised how much we take for granted the ability to do these things.” Robinson’s Medical customers are treated with a personal touch. “I visit people’s homes and work closely with them,” Louden said. “There is a tremendous amount of personal interaction and these people become like family to us.” Robinson’s serves people residing in the western slopes and also has another location in Fair Oaks.
