SIERRA VIEW TREATMENT Centers was established in 2012 to offer formal, focused, medical treatment for patients who have developed opioid abuse disorder or opioid dependence disorder. Dr. Brian K. Hunt has been treating patients with chronic pain for over 10 years. Over the years there has been a growing problem with medication abuse and dependence.
Dr. Hunt is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management, which allows a unique opportunity for patients with chronic pain and issues with addiction and dependence to receive comprehensive treatment.
SVTC offers an option for patients to seek care for opioid dependence and addiction at a fraction of the cost of inpatient treatment. In addition, with two centers in Folsom (2350 East Bidwell) and Rocklin, patients are able to have frequent follow up without lengthy commutes.
Opioid dependence and abuse is a serious problem that continues to grow in the United States. Unintentional drug overdose deaths from opioid pain medications is rising, and in fact is higher now than cocaine and heroin. Dr. Hunt’s practice is making a difference one patient at a time.
