Millennium SportsClub — 25 years of health, fitness and fun

By From page D2 | December 30, 2011

With 10 acres and nearly 35,000 square feet of interior space, Millennium SportsClub offers the largest fitness facility in El Dorado County. Located in Shingle Springs at 4242 Sports Club Drive, the club provides a unique, welcoming health and sports experience unlike any other in the region.

In 2012, the club will celebrate its 25th year as a part of the community.

Enjoy Les Mills group exercise classes — such as Body Combat and Body Pump — as well as Boot Camp, Ultimate Conditioning, Core/Stretching, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba and Cycle.

The water features include a hot spa, heated lap pool, seasonal deep water pool, and year-round swim lessons for all ages.

Compete in either United States Tennis Association leagues or informal drop-in play for tennis on 14 lighted courts, along with indoor racquetball and basketball.

Bring your children or grandchildren under 12 to the Kids Center, an energetic, safe, supervised space where they create crafts, stay active, and have fun while you focus on your workout.

And use the latest cardio and weight equipment — all where you’ll be treated like family.

Starting in January 2012, we will be holding Dr. Fuhrman’s “Eat to Live” nutrition classes. The classes will be taught by nutrition education coaches, Lily Dilts and Suzie Keema. The eight week courses will include 16 personal training sessions, group exercise classes, and one hour seminars. The courses will be ongoing throughout the year.

Finally, Millennium SportsClub offers a Silver Anniversary Membership Special of $25 for activation and $25 first month dues to kick off the new 2012 year. And rates are as low as $69 per month. Call 530-677-5705 or visit to learn more about the benefits of belonging to the Millenium SportsClub.
