Off Broadway has fashions for all seasons

If it’s fashion you wish for this Christmas, then Off Broadway in Placerville is the place to be.

Located at 1245 Broadway, the store is jam packed with all the latest fashions and them some.

“We’ve been in business for 39 years,” said owner Rosie Gier. “We bring the latest styles and fashions to the ladies of Placerville. We’ve been dressing them for three generations now.”

She added the store’s customers are like family and she and her employees enjoy working with them.

“We go to all the fashion markets that all the other stores go to,” Gier said. “We are good at picking unique styles. It’s things that you won’t find in the mall.”

Those items include sportswear, jeans, jewelry and other items of clothing.

“We’re reasonably priced and we have frequent buyer cards for our regular customers where they get extra rewards for shopping here,” she said.

And if you are not quite sure about what you would like to be wearing, Gier said she and her staff are ready and willing to help any customer who comes into the store.

“We’re here to help,” she said. “That’s one reason we’ve been so successful I think. We really are willing to work with people and find them their styles that suit them so they can leave looking good.”

Gier said she even has husbands come into the store to buy items for their wives.

“We have many many husbands that have been coming here for the holidays and we personally know a lot of their wives,” she said. “So we’re really helpful about picking out just the right thing.”

She added the store has a fun and friendly atmosphere and a great selection of clothes and accessories.
“You will leave looking good,” Gier said.

The friendly staff will also gift wrap your gift.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday, noon-5 p.m..

Great people, always friendly and happy to see you. Wonderful clothes and better service than you'll ever get at a department store!
