The Placerville Downtown Association will be adding strands of LED lights to most of the light poles along Main Street, in addition to the red bows and banners that grace the lamps each holiday season.
The PDA Holiday Committee wanted to add some cheerful elements that can be seen every night and would light the way for shoppers and diners during the season, especially on the nights that many merchants stay open later during December on Fridays and Saturdays.
Through the generosity of local sign company Eco Signs, the Belltower will be getting new, brighter LED lights to frame the well-known Placerville landmark.
Eco Signs will be donating the labor and materials for the project, which is its gift to the community.
The Belltower also will feature large, beautiful wreaths that will be installed for the holiday season.
