The Pool Place is a complete pool and patio shop. It sells BioGuard chemicals for pools and spas; offers computer water analysis; sells Doughboy above ground pools as well as all pool-related supplies and spa chemicals; and offers maintenance and repairs. Placerville resident Robbin Kronk had nothing but praise for The Pool Place. “The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about pool supplies. They are very helpful with testing water to let you know what chemicals you need. We have a salt water pool so it’s a little tricky to get the ph balance right and they are very knowledgeable about it,” Kronk said. The Pool Place is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 .m. to 2 p.m.
