Good beer and barbecued food. It’s a tasty combination not only found at Placerville Brewing Company, but specialized by it. Co-owner and Brewmaster Steve Meylor runs the Placerville Brewing Company’s brewing operation, concocting delicious varieties that win him awards from judges and praise from customers. The Texas Style BBQ food stems from a partnership with Hill Country BBQ, stemming from Placerville Brewing Company owner and “authentic Texan” Allen Vickers. Vickers brings 40 years of barbecuing expertise and award-winning sauces to the table. But the brewery isn’t so simple. The menu offers a variety of foods to satisfy any palette. Whether enjoying a live band while eating outside, a tranquil setting inside, or takeout for a meal at home, Placerville Brewing Company offers something for everyone. The business is open every day but Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
