Best Art Gallery: Gold Country Artists

By
October 15, 2013 |

A true collaborative gallery, Gold Country Artists on Main Street in Placerville showcases the talents of a wide range of artists in the area. From artistic gourds to wood, glass, oils and acrylics, the art in the gallery is unique. There’s even jewelry, mixed media, pastels, photography, pottery, water-color art and more from a who’s who of talented artists proud to share their works with El Dorado County tourists and locals enjoying what Main Street has to offer. Gold Country Artists Gallery is a cooperative art gallery that is staffed, maintained, and run by member artists. The gallery has given the opportunity to over 250 artists to sell their artwork for over 20 years. If artists are within a 50-mile radius, they’re eligible to become a member, which means shoppers get to see some of the best art around right here.  The gallery has been around since 1992, and brings artists and customers together at events like the Placerville ArtWalk.
