Best Asian: Hong Kong Inn

By October 15, 2013

The Hong Kong Inn Chinese Restaurant in Placerville has voters raving about high-quality food at a reasonable price. It’s no wonder it was voted Best Asian, with mouth-watering offerings of egg rolls, wings and even Chinese doughnuts as appetizers to get you started. Fried rice of all varieties — including chicken, roast pork, beef, ham, vegetable, shrimp and other seafood — compliments a menu that also offers lo mein with the same offerings, even Chinese spaghetti. From the House Special Chow Mei Fun to the Egg Foo Young and a multitude of soup options, Hong Kong Inn keeps customers coming back year after year. The restaurant also offers Japanese dishes, including hibachi or teriyaki meats, served with delicious vegetables, shrimp sauce and fried or white rice.
