College: American River Community College in Sacramento, studying kinesiology and sport medicine
Career goal: Physical therapist or a physical trainer. I love being active and I want to help other people while being active, so this seemed like a good balance to me.
Community involvement: While at Golden Sierra Madisen volunteered to work with the women and children at Progress House and was a Blood Source volunteer. She was a referee for youth basketball and a camp counselor, as well as junior class president and was very involved in her high school’s Sober Grad program. She’s currently working three jobs and still volunteering as a member of the Blood Source team to help at local blood drives.
