Paulina Cholewinski, Golden Sierra High School
College: Seattle University, majoring in criminology with a speciality in forensic psychology
Career goal: Specializing forensic psychology leads to many options. I could open my own practice, work with child custody cases or polygraphs; maybe I could be an expert witness.
Community involvement: Three-year member of the El Dorado County Youth Commission, Teen Court member and volunteer with the Awareness Project for the El Dorado County Grand Jury. Paulina wrote proposals to the State Board of Education and the Senate Education Committee during State Council Conferences and volunteered the use of her graphic arts skills for the football programs for GSHS, career tech brochures, the Tournament of Champions and the Every 15 Minutes program.
Where I see myself in 10 years: In the suburbs with a white picket fence, my own family and my own practice. I’m looking forward to that.
