Welcome to the sixth annual American River Music Festival

Thanks for joining us and welcome to the sixth annual American River Music Festival, Sept. 14, 15 and 16, presenting the “finest in American roots music,” on the river in Coloma.

It’s an awesome line-up of renowned musicians, some coming to California for the first time.

We are proud to have been chosen by the Sacramento Bee as a “best” choice for FUN in 2012.

This year’s festival has more than 30 performances and “join-in-shops” in 10 locations.

Visitors will be enjoying music at: the festival main stage at Henningsen-Lotus Park, in three beautiful riverfront campgrounds, on the 14-mile “gorge” river trip, along the river hike, and at local “hot spots” throughout Coloma.

The fest also offers a terrific Friday night showcase, fun kid’s activities, participation in “live art” creations, campground jams, wonderful art vendors, great food and beverages, free shuttles and much more.

When you mix live music and moving water in such a beautiful place, we know it’s going to be fun, and our hope is you’ll laugh a little, smile a lot and hug someone during the fest, and perhaps be inspired to write a song.

The American River Music Festival is entirely organized and operated by a dedicated group of more than 130 volunteers. They are the best!

A big thanks goes out to festival sponsors and partners; without them this festival wouldn’t take place.

Thanks for supporting this non-profit music presentation and enjoy the American River Music Festival.
