For more than 30 years the Golden family has kept clients warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Golden Aire owners Ed and Ken Golden have traveled from Pollock Pines to Davis and Elk Grove to Lincoln, maintaining HVAC units (all makes and models), designing and installing new systems, making estimates, repairing duct work and more for both residential and commercial clients. Back in Orangevale office, wives JoAnna (married to Ed) and Paula (married to Ken) handle all the office work.

“We have all been with the business from the start,” said JoAnna. “We love to hear customers say that they love the job that we do, they can trust us and now they have heat and air.”

Two next-generation Goldens — John and Ken Jr. — also work for the family business. Both families live in Rescue and all their children  graduated from Ponderosa High School.

Ed and Ken jumped into the heating and air business right out of high school. Ed, after building up his experience, started Golden Aire and Ken soon joined to company. With an emphasis on customer service, the family owned and operated business has built a solid reputation in the communities it serves.

“You can always get one of the owners on the phone,” JoAnna said. “We will always back our work.”

The company’s pledge on its Website sums up the Golden Aire experience best: “Our customers can expect a timely response, ultimate courtesy and the most cost-effective, energy-efficient products available on the market today. We are committed to providing the best quality service in the industry, and we pride ourselves on our quick, efficient installations and repairs.”

During the off hours, the Golden families enjoy camping, riding motorcycles, Jeeping and other outdoor adventures.

“We live in and love the area that we service,” JoAnna said.
