Water polo: Lady Cougars ousted

ROSEVILLE — An experience Rio American team showed no mercy in eliminating El Dorado 16-2 at the Woodcreek pool Thursday morning in a Division II Sac Joaquin Section girls water polo playoff opener.

The Raiders tallied six times in the first quarter, five times in the second, scored three more in the third and another two in the fourth.

Both Cougar goals were by Katryna Holified. The El Dorado boys open the playoffs tomorrow.
