El Dorado High athletic handbooks available

El Dorado High students who are interested in playing a fall sport — football, girls volleyball, boys soccer, girls golf, boys and girls cross-country, boys and girls water polo and cheerleading — need to complete an athletic handbook by Monday, Aug. 11.

Athletic packets are available at Click the “Athletic Handbook” link, and complete digitally. The packets can also be picked up at the school’s main office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Handbooks include all the necessary forms: parent consent form, emergency information form, insurance form, as well as the physical form required by a physician and not a chiropractor.

Athletic packets must be completed and returned to Lindsay Tworek, administrative assistant to the athletic department at El Dorado High. Student-athletes who wait until Aug. 11, which is the first day of practices for the sports mentioned, run the risk of not being able to practice and/or try out on the first day, and student-athletes must be cleared in order to participate.

For more information, contact Tworek at 530-622-3634, ext. 1010, or e-mail at [email protected]
