El Dorado Hills club wrestlers had great successes on the mat at recent tournaments.

County tournament held at Ponderosa High School:
Jerod Horstman (76 pounds), 1st
Ricky Eymann (108 pounds), 1st
Jackson Redhair (83 pounds), 1st
Jack Santina (89 pounds), 1st
Taylor Chapman (83 pounds), 3rd
Justin Lamson (83 pounds), 4th
Mikey Mello (100 pounds), 4th
Bobby Mello (116 pounds), 4th
Max McCarver (70 pounds), 4th
Dylan Fairchild (65 pounds), 5th

NorCal Elementary Championships in Orland:
Jarod Horstman, 1st; Kaden West, 1st; Payton Gunter, 1st; Christian Pebley, 2nd; Jace Koehn, 3rd; Max McCarver, 4th; Devon Wofford, 4th; and Kade Roeder, 4th.

Also competed but did not place: Andrew Adams, Brady Hofacre, Brody Deatherage, Caleb Challen, Jack Dillard, Jacob Wenham, Joe Jester, Parker McCarley, Zack Adams, Zander Holmes and Zane Roeder.

Tournament of Champions
The EDH Wrestling Club has 10 wrestlers qualified for TOC: Rickey Eymann, Mikey Mello, Bobby Mello, Jack Santina, Max McCarver, Taylor Chapman, Jake Williams, Kaden West, Jerod Horstman and Jackson Redhair. This is the most qualified wrestlers El Dorado Hills has had since 2004.

    Tonite is UFC #157! Main event is the 1st ever women’s MMA title bout featuring Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey vs. Liz “Girl-Rila” Carmouche. The rest of the card looks good too.
