Sugarloaf Stampede set to run

Please join the El Dorado County Office of Education in the first-ever fundraiser run to benefit the Sugarloaf Station Foundation on March 29.

Runners will enjoy a part-paved, part-dirt out-and-back course over what was once the historic Southern Pacific Railway line. The event will consist of three course lengths: a 5K run/walk, a 10K, and a 10 mile run on the Eastern section of the scenic El Dorado Trail beginning at the Jacquier Road Trailhead. The run will be chip timed by J & J Sports Productions.

Registration is open at: jandjsportsproductions.com/events/sugarloaf-stampede. Four sponsorship levels are available: Platinum ($1,000), Gold ($750), Silver ($500), and Bronze ($250).

Parties interested in supporting Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp may donate by check or via the Sugarloaf Station Foundation Website at sugarloafstationfoundation.org. Sponsors of $250 or more will have their names printed on race t-shirts and promotional materials.

Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp has been bringing a unique camp experience to the students of El Dorado County for a half century. Fine Arts Camp takes place at the beautiful Sly Park Environmental Education Center in Pollock Pines.

Campers must have completed fifth grade and not yet completed 12th grade by July of the year of camp.
