Gold for Anderson; bronze for Mancuso

KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia — South Lake Tahoe snowboarder Jamie Anderson made snowboard history by winning the gold medal for slopestyle at the Sochi Olympic games in Russia.

Squaw Valley’s Julia Mancuso took the bronze medal at Monday’s Super Combined race. Mancuso’s Olympic medal was her fourth. She becomes the most decorated women’s Olympic alpine racer in history.
