Volunteers needed for Eppie’s race

The annual Eppies Great Race, which turns 40 this year, is in need of 800 enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individuals to make this year a success.

Volunteers are needed for the weekend of July 19-20. Opportunities include watercraft take-out, food prep and setup. Volunteers receive a T-shirt, lunch, parking, Community Service requirements if applicable and a rewarding day benefiting a worthy cause.

Eppie’s Great Race, the world’s oldest triathlon, benefits Sacramento County Therapeutic Recreation Services (TRS), which provides skills-training and recreational opportunities to individuals with disabilities throughout the Sacramento area.
