The trio plays for the Capital Thunder Midget 16AA hockey team in Roseville.
With a season that starts with August try outs, long drives for early morning/late night practices and lots of travel for games, competitive hockey is a big commitment. The trio has played hockey for several years but this year they’ll represent Northern California in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
The Thunder qualified for the state finals by shocking the No. 2 (53rd nationally) and No. 5 ranked teams in California. The team is also hoping to participate in the USA National Ice Hockey Championships April 2-6 in Reston, Virginia.
