By From page A9 | April 03, 2013

Last March 16, approximately 120 women participated in the inaugural Walk in the Wild sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

There was a 5k, 10k, 10-mile and half marathon was held at Jacquier Road, the El Dorado Trail.

Women were asked to donate socks, hats and gloves. More than 500 items were donated to the Progress House in Pollock Pines, Hope House in Diamond Springs and to the Clothes Closet at Green Valley Community Church.
