EL DORADO HILLS — Breakfast and forms to sign greeted 11 Oak Ridge athletes bright and early on a Monday morning earlier this month.

As family and friends enjoyed the moment the students signed letters of intent to continue competing for the college or university of their choice after months of agonizing, visits and decision making.

Golfer Nicolette Bondura will play for California State University, Sacramento; Jackie Mansoor will run track at Chico State; Brittany Putman will compete in track and cross country at UC Santa Barbara; Samantha Ralstin will run track and cross country at UC Berkeley; and Carly Bettencourt will play basketball at Sacramento State.

Case Donahue signed to play lacrosse at Dominican University of California, the first lacrosse athlete to sign with an NCAA program from Oak Ridge; Benji Xie will attend MIT and run track; Zach Speno will run track at Azusa Pacific; Ryan Adams will play football for Concordia University in Nebraska; Jon Tuttle will take his volleyball talent to California Baptist University; and Will Findlay, who holds the school and Sac-Joaquin Section Division II high jump record, will compete for Stanford.
