Amgen Tour reminder
Sunday, May 11, at approximately 10:50 a.m., riders will leave the Sacramento Capitol to begin the Stage 1, 120-mile race. The second sprint will be in Auburn, the third in Cool. The tour continues south on Highway 49, down Salmon Falls Road to El Dorado Hills where it takes Green Valley Road east, then Silva Valley Parkway south to White Rock Road, and returns to the Capitol.
Be advised that the California Highway Patrol will control traffic by rolling roadblocks, stopping traffic shortly before and after the racers pass.
